The course invites you to explore what is helpful in day-to-day living to experience a more connected sense of self, potentially decreasing the perception of pain/suffering, and increasing pleasure, joy and self-compassion.
The course is partly inspired by Breathworks.

This is a very popular course that offers experiential and cognitive explorations into what causes stress, how an individual reacts and is impacted by stress, and what concepts/practices offer ease and release from automatic reactivity to allow for more choice and control.
The practices in the course invite you to become more connected to internal/external experiences in the present; learning how to attend to bodily sensations, feelings, emotions, thoughts and behaviours beneficially.
The course is grounded in the training and curriculum of the Centre of Mindfulness Research and Practice, Bangor and Exeter University.
Recommended reading: Full Catastrophe Living, Jon Kabat-Zinn.
